Hello, my name is Melaney Brundidge. I am originally from Tuskegee, Alabama. I am the proud mother of a beautiful daughter named Eve.
After dropping out of high school to work 2 jobs, I embarked on the dark journey of being a troubled teen trying to overcome poverty, early depression symptoms, child abuse trauma, and low self esteem. I grew tired of the lifestyle and the money I was earning. While I was most incapable to provide for myself, I became pregnant. Being a teen mother and then having a little person I had to be an example for, I wanted to have some form of education completed by the birth of my daughter. I decided to get my GED during my pregnancy. I passed after failing the first full attempt but I was determined. That determination lead to my “TRYmester” of college with hopes of having a shot at a “real career” to provide for me and my newborn.
After my “TRYmester”, I realized college wasn’t really for me so I had to figure out what I wanted to do with my life. In the interim I worked as a waitress and at a salon. I then pursued modeling in New York, which seemed to be the only place that I could find some sense of being myself. I soon realized life was much more than a pretty face and dress-up. As a new model, the pay was not ideal so I started pursuing a future I could be proud of and one that would provide for Eve and me.
I returned to Montgomery, AL.
When I returned home reality set in that I hadn’t developed any viable skills and I was out of options. After being idle two years with no direction and just living day to day, I decided to start working in the hospitality industry and remained there for 4 years. I did well in this industry but there was always a constant reminder that my educational level was preventing me from excelling to the highest professional levels in the hospitality industry. The long hours, the lousy pay, high turnover, poor leadership, and overall team morale sucked! I knew that I deserved more and I needed a vehicle or opportunity that would motivate me to achieve more. I stepped out on faith and I quit my job with a negative bank account, my last paycheck, and no savings. Crazy right? After 6 months of fighting through and overcoming depression, a loss of income as well as other required tangibles, I was out of options and ready for a total career change.
And so I began my journey towards $250K!!! With ASM and Lincoln Heritage Life Insurance Company!!
I had previously been exposed to the insurance industry through another opportunity but that was not where God wanted me to be at the time. The very weekend after following God’s directive, I met Coach Sean Simmons, Fernando Lassiter, and other leaders who were vested in Lincoln Heritage. Total transparency – I was scared to take that financial and emotional risk again, but somehow they reassured me that this would be the best decision I would make for my life and my financial future.
That was the day that my life changed forever!!! I am no longer living a life of uncertainty, with no direction, and no purpose. This opportunity gave me a new chance to believe in myself and my abilities. With persistence and every ounce of discipline I possessed at the time, I decided to shift my mindset and to develop a skill that has not only created a level of confidence but has greatly enhanced my income.
I consider it an honor and privilege to share my knowledge with, and to cultivate the same motivation and drive with the women I have come into contact with over the years. I give all credit first to God, and secondly to ASM for this amazing, life-changing opportunity. Has this journey been easy? No! I now know not to allow self doubt to permeate my thoughts, and that immediate results are not always possible but that perseverance brings long-lasting results.
I am most excited about building a solid organization filled with leaders and individuals that empower each other to become financially independent. My next stop is $250k and I am definitely ready for all that this opportunity has to offer.
My Name is Jabari DeShields and I am originally from Atlanta, Georgia- raised in the Philadelphia, PA area. I currently live in Mobile, AL. I have been partnered with this amazing group since January 2013, currently going on 8 years. It’s been an enlightening journey, full of growth and an awakening (reality)! Before ASM I was a full-time student athlete. My hopes and dreams were to be playing professional basketball somewhere practically my entire life! I have incredible parents; being raised up North with my mother and step-father, my mother kicked me out and sent me South to live with my Pops..lol! She didn’t altogether kick me “out out”, but felt it was time for me to live with him and get focused! At the time, it was just my brother and I, and he was 7 years younger, so I moved back to Atlanta to finish high school. After being recruited to come to Alabama, I went on to major in MIS, with a Business Management concentration at Alabama A&M University in Huntsville. At the conclusion of my years playing basketball, I stayed in Huntsville trying to figure out which direction I would go-whether pursue pro ball, or temporarily get a job in the ‘mean time’ until I decided. After graduating Dec 2012, I searched for a career and was struggling to pay bills-working at Walmart and other odd jobs like Labor Ready Temp Services. My now wife-friend at the time- saw a yellow and red sign on the road that said “NOW HIRING”! She called, got hired and told me about the position and I immediately jumped on the opportunity. Hey I was broke anyway-what could it hurt?
My journey to six figures, then multiple six figures with ASM has been a roller coaster. I had the talent and I was great with people. I took a leap in the very beginning by quitting my job, which was supporting my bills, to a 100% commission position! I literally only had ONE more check from Walmart coming in the week after I quit! I daily worked extremely hard in getting my skills to place of mastering my craft. What I failed at was getting my mind fully wrapped around being a business owner vs. having the mindset of an employee. I had many highs and many lows, coming to understand the importance of consistency and personal development. I had fallen face to the floor many nights in the beginning-from car repos, to eviction notices, to even having my lights cut off and using the light from my phone to organize my leads. But I knew that I Could Do This and I just had to get over “me”. The examples were all around me. I just needed to make the DECISION to go ALL the way IN. “The moment you become intentional (leaving nothing to chance) is the moment you become unstoppable” is one of my absolute favorite quotes-by Dr. Eric Thomas.
I’m most excited about the bigger picture. I have the physical opportunity to completely change my family’s lives, distant family, generations to come, as well as my community-for the better. Impact is what drives me. This opportunity forces you to (become) the person, first, then everything else will come! It provides the leverage to be extremely wealthy and FREE! Free to do whatever I want, when I want, with no limits on my options. The Freedom Movement! My leaders can’t be compared to none, my direct; Jerome Carr, Shannon and Ashley Simmons and last but not least Coach Sean Simmons have been a HUGE staple and example in my life! So then I must pay it forward, helping 100’s of people earn 6 figures and beyond, is what inspires me. Leading others to a life of freedom financially and in personal growth is my ultimate goal.
I’ve learned that your mind and your faith are your two most valuable assets. If you work on personal growth and tap into the power of your mind, while going after your goals with Faith and Passion, nothing or no one can stop you! You have to kill the noise and dig deep within to find your ultimate motivation, to the point that you give yourself NO option of quitting! Be stubborn about your goals and find those blind spots that are keeping you from reaching those goals at the present moment. You absolutely have what it takes! YOU got Next, Lets GO!!!!
My name is Tara Ray and I am from Birmingham, AL. I am a mother of two beautiful daughters and my background is education. I graduated with a BS in Secondary Science Education from Miles College. I also have a MA in Secondary Education and Ed.S in Curriculum and Instruction, both from UAB. In addition, I completed all course work and two chapters of my PhD at The University of Alabama. I was in the field of education for about 18 years. I was a secondary science teacher for over 12 years. I taught Biology and AP Biology my last seven year in the classroom. After leaving the classroom, I worked with physics teachers across the state of Alabama in a partnership with Alabama A&M University and The University of Alabama for about six years as an Educational Research Consultant. I then transition into being an education coordinator for one of the largest programs for foster kids in the state of Alabama.
On May 30, 2018, I went to work and was told, “Today is your last day!” Just like that, I went to from making $80,000 to making zero. It was summertime and I knew that I would be able to find something in the school system in August, but I needed some source of income. School was about to start for my daughter in high school, my other daughter’s tuition was due, my tuition was due, my bills where past behind, and my account was over, over drawn. I saw this sign hanging from a balcony that said, “Now Hiring!” I went into the office and they gave me an appointment to come back the next day. After looking at the presentation and seeing all the Black Excellence, all the success and money these individuals had acquired is such a short period time; and I was 40 with a million degrees, broke, and literally drowning with two people depending on me. I had to act fast… and I did!!! That is how I ended up here and I AM NOT GOING ANYWHERE!!!!
My journey to a six figure ring has been nothing less than amazing. Not to say that there hasn’t been several obstacles and trials that I’ve had to overcome. Along with a lot of hard work and dedication. When I sat down and watched the presentation, they read a quote by Coach Sean Simmons that said if he could change the way I think, he could change the way I make money and I definitely needed a change…and some money!!! I said to myself, I may not know how to sell anything, but I do know how to follow directions. So, I plugged into this SYSTEM!!! A blueprint, a map, that was laid out for me to follow. ASM, Coach Sean Simmons and my leaders, Mr. Shannon Simmons and Ms. Ashley Simmons, was genuinely invested in providing me with the resources, the knowledge and skills to help me succeed! These people were willing to show me, somebody they didn’t even know, how to get to where they were, and I was ready and willing to learn everything I could!
I literally did EVERYTHING they asked me to do and I followed EVERY direction they gave me! I trusted. I believed and I followed. I stayed up late learning my presentation and my rebuttals. I watched every video on personal development, every motivational speaker they told me to watch. I read every book they asked me to read. I got on every phone call they asked me to get on. I attended every training they told me I needed to attend. I contacted my manager every single day and I worked 8-10 hours, sometimes 12 hours a day, six days a week and seven if I did not like how my bank account was looking. I was committed to overhauling my thinking and transforming my financial future, forever!
I continue to do the same actions day after day, week after week, and month after month. In my first month, over $6000 was deposited in my account. Although I could not continue my Ph.D program, I was able to make arrangements and pay on my daughter’s tuition, get my other daughter what she needed for school, and catch up on some of my bills. When I got my 1099 in January, I had made over $30K in three and a half months. Because I kept pushing, stayed focused, and removed any person or thing that distracted me from my goal of getting my 100K ring. I was able to earn over $120K and get my six figure ring in 14 months.
My worst moment was in December 2018. A few months earlier I pawned the title to one of my cars to help with some of the balance for my daughter’s tuition. She went to school out of state and her tuition was triple that of an in-state student. One morning I came outside, and the title loan company had repossessed my car. The only working car and the car I was using to make money!!! Although, I was making money, it seemed as if I could not get ahead, no matter how hard I tried. I was still trying to pay bills that had gotten behind and learning how to manage the random deposits was a struggle. but I was not willing to let that minor setback make me quit. I did not tell my family, my friends, nor did I tell my mangers because I knew that if I knocked on enough doors and If I did enough presentations…somebody had a check for me and I could get the money I needed to get my car back. So, I borrowed my aunt’s truck, and I went to work! In two days, I made enough money to get my car back. A few months after that, I made enough money to get my title back with title max! Lol!
What I’m most excited about now is getting my $250K ring. I know what got me here, will not get me there. To earn $250,000 in 2021, I am going to have to have 10x my focus, 10x my drive, 10x my commitment, and 10x my work ethic and leadership abilities. Grant Cardon said, “Be Obsessed or Be Average,” and I was not put on this earth to be average.
One of my of goals is to become a successful leader. I pray for the wisdom to help others understand the magnitude of this opportunity and the fail proof environment that has been cultivated to create a culture where success is limitless.
I also want to build a successful team of $100K earners, a team of leaders who understand that there is no substitute for hard work. I understand that it is better to give than receive. I want to pour into my team, my business partners everything my leaders have willingly poured into me and give them the knowledge, resources, and support the has been given to me so freely.
Those goals will help me to increase my income by $100K or more each year. I Will Be A Millionaire!
If I can change the way you think, I can change the way you make money! –Coach
My Life Before and Within ASM
Born in 1974, I grew up in the housing projects of Elyton Village and the youngest of 4 siblings. Growing up I had the best of both worlds with 2 grandmothers known for cooking, sewing, drawing, and leaders in the community.
On Sundays we would have dinner with my Mudear (my Uncle/dad mother) with 5 course meals and the China to serve. I share this to say, I was given a taste of the finer things in life through her and through my dad. Having a taste then has only stirred my desire to continue them.
At 14 I became a mother to my oldest son, by 19 a mother again, and then I waited 18 years later for my third son.
Being a single mother is the one thing that has always driven me to be the best I could be so, in 1997 I told Uncle Sam thank you for the support but from here we (God and me) got it and ended my section 8 and food stamps, why, because I knew that I had to get up and change if I did not want to remain a full time recipient of his support. So, my career journey began from preschool, jewelry sales, office manager, associate agent, marketing specialist, and now after 20 years as an agent limited success in my endeavors to remain independent and free.
In 2015 I am now a stay-at-home wife and mother when me, my sister, and our mom were getting off I-65 at the Greenspring’s exit and my sister sees the Hiring Agents sign; she says, “get the number you should call,” I say naw, I am tired of insurance,” so she gets the number and says, “you should call, you might like it and nobody can never tell you anything,” with an attitude. So, I call and meet my blessings, the S&A Group. Know mind you, I was burnt out on corporate America, so when I get here, my mind is already made up and then they mention the word commission. Wait, say that again. Not interested and turn down the opportunity. Ms. Ashley says, “what about Administration no selling,” I accept, and new relationships begin new attitude for me is created but I walk away in 2017 to pursue a passion that is not yet ready for me.
In 2019 Ms. Ashley reaches out to me in March to bring me back into the fold, Sept of 2019 (after my grandsons go back to NC) something on the inside is not sitting well as far as my accomplishments, what my plans are, where I am headed at 45 which was nowhere; still running into dead ends, brick walls, failure.
By October 2019, Coach is now coming to the office more than I ever seen before, so I ask to talk with him. He says, “lets meet for dinner and discuss your issues.”
Once again, I (me, no one else), almost lost it all once again by plugging into office negativity- something I have never done in the office realm or school. But I did and almost paid the ultimate price, that was my worst moment.
Coach’s words to me that night were simple, “go to your manager, communicate, complete something in your life, be here 1 year from now, listen, and follow, it’s up to you.
Becoming a six-figure ring earner is both difficult and a pleasure all in one complete package. The difficulty is staying focused, determined, and accountable and the pleasure is doing the difficult things. Each day I remind myself of my contributions to the corporate teams and how I showed up for them, worked 8:30 -5 did as I was told and followed their system and when you look at it it is the same principles to your own life (personal and business). But with ASM it is more so for you than it is for anyone else and the best of it all is FREEDOM.
My next goal is a 250k ring- I am excited to see how I will push myself, how I will continue to change, and who I can help come with me as I pursue and accomplish the new me.
I have never been a person to say much, observation is key, and I had to get back to that; observing Ms. Ashley her tenacity to be the best, Mr. Shannon his passion to pour knowledge into you, and Coach the same traits if not better to help you see how you are in your own way.
Lincoln Heritage, ASM, and the S&A Group have changed my life for the better and as they say, “We Just Getting Started!”
You vs. You- there is 2 of you- which one will you become, the Winner or the lose.
– The Wise Old Owl
I am a native of Senatobia, MS., where I currently reside. I partnered with The ASM Group in December 2016, while still partnering with Lincoln Heritage Insurance/Forte Management Group. My background has been Sales/Marketing for 30+ years. I was introduced to Lincoln Heritage Insurance by way of a co-worker who had worked for another insurance company, before being employed with Lincoln Heritage. My journey to six figures has certainly been a learning experience, which required focused dedication, self-motivation, staying connected to the source and leadership. The journey has not always been a downhill course, but it has very well been worth the trip; monetarily, improvement of brain power, communication skills and knowledge gain.
My most devastating moment with ASM was being on target to obtain a set goal and received a phone call from my heart specialist advising me to slow my roll.(Ouch!) I am most excited about yet being able to work for this amazing company which allows me to continually provide for my family, especially through this horrific pandemic.

My name is Glenn Long I’m from Tuscaloosa Alabama born and raised; 29 year young Black Man. So you can imagine the pressure of day to day life. I always had and have strong work values. From the tender age of 15 I started work at my 1st corporate job KFC. I was taught by my folks if you really want and need something you’ll have to work to get it. The right way that is. Get a damn JOB and earn the money for the time you put in. Anything else will surly have you dead or worst in the penitentiary as a modern day slave…..
As time passed I worked and and went thru various jobs because college for me was definitely a no go after 1 semester and visualizing the future and knowing when and if I get out I’ll be stuck in debt and maybe not even able to get a job with a piece of paper they called a degree now a day. So a lot of uncertainty in that kind of education that cost. Sounded to me like a scam by the government. All through the process I keep a job at the plant up there at Mercedes making like 12 dollars an hour and got fired from that trap for clocking in 30 minutes early. Most would sit up in self pity but not I. I listen to my mom one day who advised me to get my CDL. Remind you I’m not rich my parents did they best and in my eyes are the best examples of human beings I know. That small investment of $1500 (When some can just get a million dollar loan that they don’t pay back)to get my CDL wasn’t taken for granted it help me earn about 30k a year in order for me to take advantage and not for granted this next opportunity that we call ASM LHLIC which completely changed my life for the better.
At the age of 25 some friends who are no longer with the company introduced me to insurance and how it’s the best kept secret to earning continuous consistent cash flow which is what I learn soon as the people in organization open their mouths to speak. I looked back as I was in the room in Birmingham called a glimpse of déjà vu I’ve been asking for something like this but I must do the part in fulfilling it and making them dreams come true. No one else owns my time no one‘s gonna be there to fire me I only fire myself by not doing anything at all and we all know nothing happens unless the application or contract goes to the home office simple as that. After writing my first application I knew this was the perfect vehicle to take me to tremendous heights. I know to do it with love care sincerity genuineness because the people that we deal with I just like my mom and dad and my grandparents were no longer with us do you want to treat everyone who you deal with like that in order to keep a strong positive prosperous business that one day you can pass on to your children and grandchildren. I learned that this is not just a job this is A Business opportunity to be great to be better than who you was a year ago two years ago 10 years ago; But I realize by understanding and seeing people fail short and quit when they can be 3 feet from gold that if you don’t have a strong tough mental capacity this type of work or any type of work Owning a business might not be for you. Which isn’t anything wrong with that. Like they say if it was easy everyone would be doing it. So I keep the faith of a grain of a mustard seed In in two years was able to earn six figures in which I set that at my yearly minimum; And refuse to look back at any job paying under six figures that I’ve worked in my lifetime. It’s time to move on and Up and to the right is my life from now on. I have no complaints after four pleasant years with ASM LHLIC and I know this company will continue to surprise me and bless me and my people long as We keep on doing Income producing activities.

My name is Donaldo Harris and I am originally from Newport News, Virginia. I’ve been with Agent Success Management (ASM) for 3 ½ years. Prior to partnering with ASM, I worked in the field of Education as a School Administrator.
In June of 2017, I took a leap of faith and walked away from my career education to pursue my passion for helping people.
My journey to the Six Figure Ring has been challenging, but rewarding. I had to make a decision to leave my family in another state for a year to pursue this dream. There were times of frustration. I even packed up my car one day to head back home to my family. I’m so glad I had business work out partners who were able to talk me out of leaving. That one decision could have changed my life forever.
I am extremely and beyond excited! My excitement level is so high because this opportunity gives me the chance to change the future of my family. Build your business for your last name.
My goal is to help as many people as possible to find hope and go after their dreams.
These are some of my favorite quotes:
“Show up at every event with a team bigger than that of the last time.”
“You are the sum total of your thoughts.”
“Act the part of the person you want to become.”
“I’d rather have 1% of 100 people’s efforts, than have 100% of my own.”
I am Barbara Dean from Andalusia, AL. I have been a part of ASM for five and a half years. Before I became a part of ASM, I owned and operated my own business for seventeen years. I decided to make a change, so I sold my business and decided to try something different, then tragedy struck. I had an aging mother with Alzheimers that continued to worsen, as well as a grandson diagnosed with Leukemia. So over the next seven or eight years, I had put my life on hold for my family. I even had to put my marriage on hold, and move into my mom’s home to care for her for two and a half years, as her Alzheimers worsened. Yes, I still worked, taking on hourly and physical jobs to be able to be available for my family as needed. By the grace of God, my grandson was cured of Leukemia, and I had to put my mom in a nursing home, which completely broke my heart. Now, as a fifty-six year old female I began trying to reenter the job market, wanting to make the kind of money I knew I was capable of. I knew it was going to be an uphill battle, but I continued to keep my faith. While searching for a job, I started selling MLM health products. While at a print shop one day, I exchanged business cards with a young man that I was trying to recruit. Over the next few months during my conversations with this young man, I became interested in his job, selling insurance. My husband and I set up a meeting with him. If any of you know my husband, he is an original shark and business owner, and also an ex insurance agent. (Skeptical by nature.) During the meeting, my husband asked the young man to see his 1099. The 1099 showed him making 50,000 in just six months. That immediately captured our attention. After much researching, my husband and I decided this might be the opportunity I had been searching for. So we decided to make the commitment and go with it.
The first thing I did when getting hired with Lincoln Heritage was, I bought into the system and did everything my manager told me to do, because I knew nothing about insurance. I took all of their suggestions. The ASM system worked for me, and I had a very successful first six months. In December, my temporary license ran out and I lost my job until I could pass my test, resulting in one of the worst moments ever. Loosing my job helped me realize how much I really loved this job. In February, after countless hours of studying, I went on to pass my test and get my license. I was then hired back with Lincoln Heritage! Within that same year, I qualified for the company trip in Canada, and the following year I became a six-figure ring earner, which was one of my major accomplishments.
I am very thankful that our company was able to make major adjustments to accommodate us in the 2020 pandemic, allowing each of us to keep our jobs. In the upcoming months, I am very excited about my pay through growing more and more each month. My next goal is to change other people’s lives by helping them grow in the business, and also to make the company trip each year. What has driven me to success, was trying my hardest to stay consistent month in and month out.
No matter what hardships you face, do not let this amazing opportunity slip away from you. You deserve you the best, and here at Lincoln Heritage, we have the best. “Dreams grow if you grow. ” – Zig Ziglar “I want someone to be able to look at me one day and say, because of you, I did not give up” – Barbara Dean “Keep it simple, stupid, the sales will come!” – Kelly Johnson
My name is Antwon Guyton. I am from Ripley, MS and I have been with ASM for 4 years. Prior to joining ASM, I was a sales manager at another insurance company. I was recruited by an agent that had worked for the company that I was currently working for and had been very successful here at ASM.
The journey to six figures wasn’t something I actually set out to do. My goal was just to work hard and try to make the most out of this opportunity. I just brought the willingness to get up and go to work everyday to provide a better life for me and my family. After the first full year I had earned over 110,000 dollars with this company!
My worst moment in this journey was the beginning. In the beginning I tried not to conform to the already proven system that was already in place, I tried to bring the system of the other company that I had worked for into this one, It didn’t work out for me. I was told not to try to reinvent the wheel. Follow this proven system. That is when it seemed as if a light came on and I began succeeding in this business.
I’m most excited about the explosive growth ASM has had in the last several years and where the company is headed. I’m also excited that my wife has come aboard and looking forward to us both growing a team and becoming one of ASM’s Power Couples. My next goal is to be a $250,000 ring earner!!
My inspiration is seeing so many successful agents and managers that have made a great living with this company. Which should let anyone know that with hard work and dedication, you can be very successful here at ASM.
One of my favorite quotes is by Eric Thomas (ET), “The difference between those who succeed and fail: Not taking Advantage of Opportunities!”
Hello, my name is Shannon Simmons and I am originally from The Bronx, New York. I’ve also lived in Virginia for some time in my life. I have been with ASM for 10 years now, but prior to ASM my background was working as a security guard ( top flight of the world craig to be exact lol ). I received a call from our Coach Sean Simmons when he had been presented with an opportunity to take over the state of Alabama and he asked me “ Am I ready to change my life?” So I packed up everything and moved to Alabama with my girlfriend at the time who is now my lovely wife, Ashley Simmons. My journey to my first six figures was a task, it was a great learning experience because I had never sold anything in my life. It was far from easy, but I had no other choice then to make it work and I did! The worst moment for me was when my car was about to get repoed during a team meeting.
I am the most excited about the individuals that are following behind us and the new agents who are experiencing a better version of the opportunity than when we first started. The bumps in the road that the founding fathers and mothers had to go through during this process, have paved the way for the up and comers so they won’t have to.
In addition they have helped individuals to change their legacies and access financial freedom.
To everyone that shows interest in or partakes in this opportunity; You have the chance to become great if you believe, commit, and fall in love with the process! One of my favorite quotes is “ you can have everything in life you want, if you will just help other people get what they want” and that quote is from Zig Ziglar. Thank you.
My name Felicia Dione Howard and I was born and raised in Jackson, MS. I am presently residing in Alexandria, LA since December 2019. I have been with ASM sinceAugust of 2019. My background consists of 30+ years of Customer Service and Retail-Call Center Experience.
I ended up with ASM at the time in which I did because of Dominique Marshall…Domonique received a lead with my information ..called me at 8 am on a Tuesday morning talking to me like she knew me lol….I advised her that I was not looking for a policy that I was seeking a job…it was then that she asked me for the cost of the lead back lol. She has been my baby girl since…..She passed the information to her manager and that is where it began….so you guys blame Domonique for me being here lol.
The journey to reaching the 100k ring started out by me being consistent, focused and dedicated to the task at hand. It was very fulfilling because of the ability to service the people…then it turned into being draining, not fun anymore and discouraging because by the 13th month it was only about reaching a goal and not servicing the people and then came SWEET RELIEF.
I was having the time of my life until July 2020…things went downhill…fast. My mentally ill nephew took the life of another…he took someone’s life… that was gut wrenching…I was a zombie for most of the month. I cried and prayed and prayed and cried. I tried to pull it together, it was tearing me apart. I didn’t even make the Newsletter in July.
So now we are in August, this was my best month of production. I was Top Producer for ASM.I continued to press on. August was the month I was supposed to get my ring I wanted to do it in 1 year….although Coach wasn’t offering 12k then lol…but because of the rolling year and low to no production in July I lost several thousand dollars which put me further from my goal. This was very discouraging…this wasn’t fun anymore.
September came and went and I was still falling short, about $4,000 away. October is here and here comes another gut punch. My nephew couldn’t handle what he had done and attempted to take his own life. I was barely functioning at this time but steadily pressing on. Although I did not want to really want to do and you really care about people, then give it your all. Remove the distractions, whatever or whomever they may be and you will see your life change.
I leave you with this: When you focus on being a blessing. God makes sure that you are always blessed in abundance. God made you a masterpiece-be blessed, secure, disciplined and equipped.
Joel Olsteen asked for help I knew that I didn’t have enough in me to lose thousands again because of a month falling off and having to press harder another month. I was so close and the time was drawing nigh so I reached out to my family. Just a few hours from closing I had accomplished $99,531.25 personally towards my goal .Where I’m from anything over 500 is rounded up. Lol…but I needed $468.75 to make it official and because of the love and support from some of my family members I was able to finish with $100,443.49 in 14 months. SWEET RELIEF! It wouldn’t be called family if we could not show love in action. So for those that are striving to reach your goal when you get to $99,500 and you are running out of time and you need some love in action. Call me, I got you.
Fernando Lassiter grew up in North Carolina. He is the oldest of three siblings. He attended North Carolina Central University in Durham, NC for three years where he studied Accounting.
Fernando has been with Agent Success Management Group for 7 years as of September 1st 2020.
He spent over fifteen years in the retail sales industry selling appliances and electronics. He spent three years in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry prior to joining Agent Success Management Group. He was also involved in the direct sales industry where he was introduced to the astounding benefits of Personal Development.
Realizing that traditional employment could make you a living but rarely a six-figure income, he always kept his business options open.
In 2013, he was presented with a unique opportunity to work with Mr. Sean Simmons (Coach) and his Insurance Agency, Agent Success Management in Alabama. After three years of management training in the Agent Success Management system and following the advice of his mentor, Mr. Sean Simmons, he established The Capital Group Insurance Agency. The Capital Group Insurance Agency is one of the largest and highest producing agencies under the Agent Success Management umbrella.
Fernando is quick to say the journey to earning a Six Figure income is not an easy one. You will face obstacles and adversity along the way. You must have a definite goal, a system that includes the right people, be disciplined, teachable and believe in what you’re doing and who you’re doing it with. Here’s an incident we can share. Four months after arriving in Alabama, Fernando had a car accident. He ran into a deer servicing clients in a rural area of Alabama and totaled his vehicle. He was not personally injured. He was not making much money at the time. He was new to the company. Quick decisions had to be made. Do you pack up, quit and go back to North Carolina or find a way to continue to move forward? Even though it wasn’t part of the plan, Fernando decided to invest in himself and the business by buying a brand new vehicle so he could continue the journey. That one decision to stick and stay through the tough times paid off as time went on. He now earns a multiple six figure income with Agent Success Management Group.
Fernando is extremely excited about the future. Having earned a six-figure income in his second year with ASM, he’s excited about working directly with the up and coming six-figure earners associated with the team. His future goals are large. He projects earning a 7 figure yearly income with this company. There’s nothing the winners are doing here within Agent Success Management Group that any person who’s ready and willing to change their lives can’t do.
Agent Success Management is dedicated to taking care of its Final Expense clients and providing our agents with the opportunity to grow Personally and Financially through this Great Opportunity. We often refer to our cause as
“THE FREEDOM MOVEMENT” Lastly, we leave you with the famous words of our mentor Mr. Jim Rohn, “FOR THINGS TO CHANGE, YOU HAVE TO CHANGE!!! We only get 1 life… Let’s make it count! Shark Shark!!
My name is Valarie Harris I was born and raised in Greenville, Mississippi a small city in the Mississippi Delta and I have been with ASM for 3 years. My background prior to ASM was a world wind lol. I received my bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising. My goal was to own my own fashion boutique. Since having fashion as a passion of mine I was mostly driven to the retail industry. Even early on in high school I worked in retail and customer service. I have worked for Dollar General for about 3 years I was the assistant store manager.
I needed a change from retail and then decided to take a position at the local county jail. I worked as an officer inside the county jail for almost 2 years. I then took another manager position at Goodwill and resigned from there and ended up as a sales rep at a title loan company. I stayed there for about 2 years because at this point, I had no idea where my life was headed. So, I found out about a CSR position at the local State Farm, so I applied. I got the job but had no idea what I had gotten myself in lol. And that position was the start of my insurance career. I was actually terminated December 1, 2017.
I came across ASM thru indeed a few weeks later. It has been a life changing for me and my family. My journey to a six figure income has been filled with doubts, ups and downs, fear, and a ton of sacrifice but it has all worked together for my good. Since being in an entrepreneurship role and finally having that opportunity I had to make a decision that I was going to do whatever I had to do to make this work and I was not going back to a job. I had friends and people in my life who didn’t understand what I was doing or why I was working in a commission position.
I blocked out the noise and kept my focus. I always saw myself being successful in business but never imagined me being where I am in my life. One of my worst times was when I was about to get evicted from my apartment and had a week to vacate the property. At that moment I knew I had to do more and not to ever have me and my son in that position ever again. What I’m most excited about is this next phase of my business. Building my agency, having a strong team of men and women from all walks of life, helping others attain financial freedom, living life on my terms, and becoming the woman that I know myself to be.
Since looking back on this journey I do know that everything happens for a reason. Everything that I have come up against in life good or bad has prepared me for this time in my life. Doing something different out of your comfort zone can be very scary and we let the fear of the un-none cripple us, and we go back to what was not fulfilling to us. Being confident in who you are and clear about what you really want to have out of this life is key to being successful. Also having positive people around or having some type of mentorship in place is a plus.
The road to success can sometime be lonely and full of uncertainty but the most important thing is to stay focused on your why. Your why should be the thing that gets you going first thing in the morning and the last thing on your mind at night. Also, if possible, get your family involved with your goals. And remember giving up is not an option!
I am Shenna Michelle Adams, originally from Meridian, MS. I went to college to pursue a degree in nursing, but as a single parent raising 3 kids under 3 years old, I found it difficult, and decided to drop out. I worked as a medical biller for about 4 years, for a doctors office 5 days a week, and at a supermarket on the weekends. I made about $19,000 a year working 7 days a week, and was living in poverty. Living in the projects, and receiving every government assistance I could receive. I had a situation where I needed money really fast, and my paychecks from both jobs just weren’t enough. I lost my daughter for several months, because I didn’t have $500 to my name to hire an attorney.
I then started to realize, how someone can work 40+ hours a week, wasn’t what I wanted for my kids, so I started to do research on becoming an entrepreneur.
I then became an appointment setter for insurance agents all across the US. One in particular was the #1 producer in ASM. They shared how much money they made, their excitement of the opportunity, the culture, and spoke highly of their leadership. I decided to give ASM a try. My parents begged me not to do commission. Funny, they’ve asked me for a job 2 years later, because they saw how big a difference my life was.
I’ve been with ASM for 5 years, and one of the best decisions I’ve made in my entire life.
My journey to six figures was extremely challenging. Being a single parent, no support, and building a business was extremely difficult. I had to sacrifice a lot. I often ask myself from time to time, is it even worth it, but I knew going back to a regular job I would find myself nor making ends meet. They say your 1st year is survival mode. Boy, were my leaders right. Except, it was really my 1st and 2nd year I found myself trying to survive. I understood though, I was running a business, and I knew it could possibly take me 3-5 years to start seeing it grow. That’s what kept me going. I’ve lost many material things during my journey. The worst moment was having my kids call me while I was out running leads, that there was an eviction notice on the front door. That was my worst moment, but it also changed my mindset; that I must 10x my business so I’ll never be broke another day in my life.
I made the decision to win. I made a commitment to become a six figure earner, but not just limit myself there, but to become a millionaire. I started to manifest and speak affirmations for the things I wanted and what I desired. I continue to manifest what my life would look like in the next year, and everything I manifest it became.
A year later, I got married to my workout partner, Keith Adams, had a baby girl, and together made over a quarter of a million dollars on our way to half a million in 2021.
I’m excited to see where the business will take my family. I’m excited to see how many other individuals we can help make six figures, and how many single mothers I can inspire to change their life.
“You may shoot me with your words. You may cut me with your eyes. You may kill me with your hatefulness. But still, like air, I’ll rise.
-Maya Angelou
My name is Jerome Carr. I was born and raised in Virginia and currently reside in Louisiana. I have been with ASM since January 5, 2011. My professional background was computer programming. Prior to joining ASM, I was working at Food Lion distribution center as an overnight processor. What led me to ASM was the frustration of working extra-long hours without ever seeming to stay afloat or getting ahead financially. I was always struggling financially regardless of how much more time I put into that job. I had previously been introduced to sales and knew sales were the best way I could earn the type of income I desired from my exceptional work ethic. No one will pay you what you are worth unless you find a way to work for yourself. I had learned a philosophy to work more on yourself than you do on your job and that profits are better than wages. This journey had been remarkable in the sense of self-discovery. It has been full of great moments as well as those not great moments. I am grateful for those adversities, challenges, and trials I had to overcome but it helped develop me into the poem I am today. For gold and diamond, some of the most precious metals and stones, must be put under pressure to form. One of my worst moments is when my car was stolen within 24 hours of arriving in Alabama to begin my transformational journey. At that moment, I could have believed it to be a sign that this was the wrong decision. But Thank GOD for his Divine wisdom for me to see it differently. I am most excited about helping mentor, coach, share, and develop others on their journey to success. My next goals are to help 3 individuals to accomplish a six figure income and personally reach $500,000 yearly income. I’ve learned to understand that life only gives to the deserving not to the needy. Ralph Waldo Emerson states “Do the thing and you will have the power.” Jim Rohn states “Service to many leads to greatness” and “You can have everything you want in life if you help enough other people get what they want out of life.” With these philosophies, I am eager about the future. On to the new level!!
I grew up in Chicago Illinois and have been with ASM for 3 years. Previous to joining AMS, I was a Supply Chain Manager in the Illinois Healthcare System for 14 years. I ended up here because I wanted an opportunity where I could create wealth for my family. The journey has been tough because it was a major adjustment learning something new after 14 years in Healthcare. I would not change anything about this journey. I have so much about myself and life. The worst moment was when my father passed away in 2019 the same year I earned my six figure ring and he wanted to attend the ceremony. I am most excited about the future that I can build for my family. I will be the one that creates generational wealth and accurate thinking for my family. My next goal is to reach $250,000 by June of 2022. Life can give you anything that you demand and work for. Personal development will set you free !!! The ability to control your thoughts will set you free.

My name is Jason Forte and I am from Bay Springs Mississippi. I have been employed with ASM for six years. Prior to joining the ASM team, I was a professional basketball player. After basketball, I made a decision that I didn’t want to work for anyone, so I saw this opportunity of being able to help as many people as possible and in turn, I would be blessed by it. My journey to 6 figures has been a hardworking one. I entered this business with a competitive mindset that I would be just as successful or even more successful than I was as an athlete. I worked 6 days a week, 12 hour days my 1st 2 years in the business and I became great at what I’ve done. I love this company and I love ASM! I’m excited about creating perpetual leaders. Cloning myself. I want to give more individuals the opportunity to become 6 figure earners.
I am originally from Pompano Beach Florida, but after the Marine Corps, I actually lived in Raleigh, NC for about 13 years. I’ve been a part of Agent Success Management for a little over five years after being in law enforcement for about 13 years but working in the security field prior to ASM. The door to my Law enforcement career closed and I knew that it wasn’t going to be reopened and this is how I came to ASM. After being personally invited by Coach Simmons for the first time in 2011 and again in 2014, I didn’t want anything to do with life insurance or sales. I was very adamant about starting my law enforcement career in my hometown at my childhood dream agency. When that door was closed I was making $12.00 as a supervisor with a security company living with my mother. Something had to change and it was me. I made the call in 2015 to Coach Simmons asking if this opportunity was still available. My journey to six figures was actually ignorance on fire, I held onto my manager at the time, but my friend and mentor Fernando Lassiter’s coattail. In the words of Les Brown “was it easy? No! Was it worth it? YES! There were many ruff moments, but I knew I had to go through the process like so many others. I didn’t come to ASM with a lot of finances, but I came with all bridges of my past blown away! This had to work, there wasn’t a plan B, I couldn’t return to law enforcement or to my mother’s homemaking $12.00 an hour. I get so excited about my growth in this business and my gift of training others to Top producer and really excited about helping many business partners earn their six-figure rings. I enjoy training agents to close the sale and experience that first deposit and being on the Top Producer list, also my wife and I earn our $500K rings. The one thing that I really look forward to and excited about is passing the keys to the business to my wife and I’s Daughter Kyndall Reign Adams. I have a signature quote: Risking Failure To Achieve Success. The Bible tells us that too much is given much is required. Risking Failure To Achieve Success means you will sacrifice something, you will give up something to achieve success, six figures rings are not 6 cents! You have to put in the work and be ethical and moral. You don’t have to cheat the system or not be in the best interest of the client, ASM and Lincoln Heritage. Be in the best interest of the client and not your bills. You continue to do the possible and God will do the IMPOSSIBLE!
My name is Ashley Simmons and I’m from Wilmington, DE. I’ve been with ASM for 9 1/2 years. Prior to partnering with ASM, I worked for Sallie Mae, the student loan servicing company. I relocated to Birmingham, AL with my then boyfriend and now husband, Shannon Simmons, in 2011 after we were offered the opportunity to help build the market in the area. My journey to six figures has been arduous, challenging but above all, rewarding. My husband and I have been able to build what we’ve once only dreamed of doing, we are so grateful to God for blessing us with this opportunity to not only be a blessing to others but to also help others realize the same successes that we’ve achieved and more! Not only has he blessed us with the opportunity to change our lives and the lives of others, but he’s also blessed us with an incredible visionary and leader, Coach Simmons!
I am beyond excited! I’m excited for the future, I’m excited for the legacy we’re building for generations to come and I’m excited for the lives we are helping to change for the better! Our next goal is to, in all the next 5 years, help at least 100 people earn six figures with Lincoln Heritage Money! If I could give any advice, it would be this: Plan to Win, Prepare to Win and above all else Expect to WIN!
